True enough. While NPCs may look like caring beings that respond to things for a while, it's still all codes. All their reactions are premade and they don't have imagination of their own.
Since I know they are just NPC's and not real ... I can say I "liked" a certain NPC, but I really am not "falling in love" with them ... they just didn't hit me on that nerve, "reality check" after all.
