mana runs out stamina does not.

Ok this had been bugging me for a while.
Why is it that you cant cast without mana but you can still swing a sword without stamina.

Anyone got any tips to make my high elf a better mage.
One that doesnt have a mana potion addication?

Buy make or find enchanted items that increase your magicka restoration rate. Use the Mage stone which is one of the three on the road from Helgen to Riverwood.

Get an Amulet of Julianos +10 Magicka. Visit Shrine of Julianos in Solitude.
Gaulder amulet (3 part quest) +30 Health Stamina & Magicka when three pieces are combined.
