Is this game worth without using mods?
Thank you for the reply.

sure. i would even recommend to play it vanilla for the first time. you should however use the unofficial patch (usleep if you own legendary, uskp if you own base game) and maybe a texture pack of your choice for aestethics (if needed)

I've played it for 2000+ hours without any mods and can confirm it's awesome. Definitely yes.

I did the whole thing in vanilla using only a couple of aesthetic mods plus the unofficial patch. The aesthetic mods make a couple of things look nicer, but aren't really necessary. The unofficial patch isn't really necessary either, but fixes a couple of bugs you might encounter otherwise.

Later, when I ran out of things to do, I added a few quest and dungeon mods - some really good ones out there with lots of content.

Yes and no, if you want the most out of your game learn how to use nexus as Steam mods are kinda.. Well all over the place sometimes.

If you want to play vannilla the first run through go ahead but if you don't I recommend you get LOOT for your mods so it can deal with sorting them out and seeing if they are broken.

Immersive armors and Immersive Weapons are must haves.

Moonlight tales is a werewolf overhaul I recommend if you want to play a werewolf.

Enhanced blood is also a must have; don't forget Realistic Ragdolls.

Mods to fix things like USLEEP if you like said above have the legendary edition.

Alt start after you finish your first character so you can do some roleplaying.

At this point if you want to download small mods from Steam you can because you have the mods you might want and what have you.

My tip is, if you get something big and it's on Nexus, get it from Nexus.

Don't forget to download from the Nexus, better guard dialog or something like that. Fixes the guards voices to work with if you're a wizard or a theif, assassin. Werewolf.

Besides that just look around for mods that help quality of life, like weightless mods for scrolls and Potions; thank me later you loot cow.

Well, Thank you for sharing that information.
In games, I rarely install mods, because I think it steals the essence of the game, however I think that in this game it will be different. Thanks!

i kind of find the game boring and lacking in many areas when not using mods tbh. especially if your looking for any kind of immersion in the game.
