When do you think TE6 will be released? Discussion.

Just curious about everyone's opinion on the next Elder Scrolls game, and when everyone expects it to come out. I'll throw in my 2 cents of course.

I feel like we're probably going to get a release in holiaday 2019, and at E3 this year they're going to drop the name of the game. And to clarify, yes I'm well aware of all the times interviews have stated "it's not even in development yet", or the "we don't have the technology we want to use yet, so it's many years away". But this is Bathesda, I feel like they're incredibly good at keeping things secrets. I remember all the Fallout 4 talk many many years ago, and every possible rumor being denied and given the impression it was never going to come. I think the time between 5 and 6 is going to be much longer due to a new engine. The creation engine is a bit of a mess, with physics issues above 60fps, and outdated lighting/graphics. I'm sure they'll have spent many years of devopment just writing a new engine.
Otherwise yea, I feel like 2019 is possible, with tid-bits of drip fed information starting this E3. Even if it's something like 2020, I'm pretty sure they're bound to acknowledge the existence of the project with real information this year for sure.

Just hyped, it's been forever since Skyrim was new, lets see what everyone thinks. :)

Gotta agree with you. That was one of the worst aspects of Fallout 4.

it'll be released about 2 years before it's ready, and the dev team will be disbanded a good 6 months before they've got round to fixing all the bugs.

But that's a GOOD thing, it gives the Modders plenty to do! :P
