Adventure PnC fans.

Bought this after looking at the decent metacritic review. Ok i have only just watched the intro and already it looks ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ horrific. Really terrible writing stinking scene or is it just me. Ive played some tenuious PnC games but this seems reallt bad. Is it just me?

i watched the intro the other day, it was a bit rough and put me off snapping it up. how is the gaemplay? im still tempted to give it a go.

I'm sorry to hear you didn't like it...I had this game on disk years ago. I thought it was pretty good, especially considering that this kind of game is no longer made (pointnclick adventure). but u can tell especially with this first one, that the writers were non-native english speakers.
I think its worth buying on sale...just know what you're getting into. Don't expect Call of Duty

The first part of the game is not that good but it gets better in the end. There are some idiotic puzzles but overall I liked game a lot. Good old fashion adventure.

The game is really good, i love runaway and other pendulo games.

Just finished it and found it quite frustrating and even tedious at times. This was mainly due to the repetitious nature of some of the puzzles and having to search for so many objects that were hidden away or appeared really small/faint.

Unfortunately, some of the characters began to irritate me too as I grew more frustrated with the voicing and the story progression. For me it seemed like they had so much to cram in that they had to compromise, leaving things feeling a little disjointed.

That said, it's not a new game and Pendulo seems quite small. Also, I bought it as part of a bundle along with the others in the series so price-wise I'm not too disappointed. I'm hoping the others are a bit of an improvement though.
