Hi, I was wondering why was the game removed all of a sudden? And no announcement. Is it temporary?

Hej I am interested in purchasing the game, but I am wondering if I will be able to play with steam friends as in Mulitiplayer (PVP). Friend who live in different countries? I see that is says "Shared/Split Screen PvP" and I gather that that means if two people are in the same room in the same house can play on the same screen!...
