Tielle is #1 for me too. She does wonders in the Crystal Nightmare Boss Rush, or anywhere for that matter. She kills almost all non-boss enemies in a single fully charged shot and I've gotten her to even one-shot a few of the earlier bosses in the Crystal Nightmare boss rush too. On top of that she is just funny; a girl who is way too obsessed with candy and at the same time is a complete death machine mowing down whatever you put in front of her, and behind her. After her I'd say Griff; his standard attack has awesome range and can hit enemies which are higher up, like the stupid wasps. His special attacks are great, and his dash makes avoiding attacks extremely easy. After him I'd say Nagi because she can rip large bosses apart with hundred thrusts, and it stuns them while they are being hit (except for the human bosses). Charme is handy because she can sprint around dungeons and finish them ridiculously fast, and she can do fairly well agaisnt bosses after you learn their attack patterns because dodging anything is a breeze with her. Like Griff her sprint makes her invincible for a very brief moment, but it is for a smaller time frame than him, and she can't pass through enemies like Griff can with his dash. Her ability to parry is pretty sweet too. If you can get the timing down, it can be fairly useful at times, but it is pretty tricky to use against certain attacks.

Griff, for now.

My personal favourite is Nagi. I have no luck, so when I finally got her, she felt really special. She is also one of the two melee adventurers I can actually play well (the other being Charme), so that gets her bonus points. I love her character design as the forgetful, but kind-hearted, adventurer. I know she's not the best at combat, but her semi-tankiness really helps me to defeat bosses I could never defeat with others.

Louie is a great work horse that gets the job done. He may not have many flashy abilities, but I've got to respect his reliability. Also, I'm totally shipping him with Recette.

I only have the earlier adventurerers, but I use Charme the most simply for her speed. The dungeons can get pretty long and tiresome to go through if going slow. However, really I do like Louie best for his classic Linkesque style of play and solid stats. Plus his poorness is so moé.

I totally agree with you Louie is a great character very moé and very easy to play.

Charme. Mash the ♥♥♥♥ out of her special ability and deal a ton of damage to boss enemies.

Louie, because he works for free if you spent all your money on stock.

Capitalism, HO!

Definitely Griff. His basic attack is fast and has great range, his dash lets him phase through enemies, and his abilities are just awesomely powerful. The fact that he's both snarky and surprisingly sensative is a nice plus as well.

Ok, if nobody else will say it. Caillou.

His sparkburst spell is a cheap win on most bosses (only griff & arma give me any issues). Spamming it give a huge damage output quickly, And on non-boss runs he can rebuild mana with normal shots saving items.

He's the weakest defender, but really nice on boss rushes just blowing through them.

Tielle and Elan.

Tielle for the amazing range (although I've yet to deal with the famed "Cuterage"), and Elan because of the fists'o'fury and also due to he being a HP-tank (which saved my ass with the bosses of the last two dungeons before Crystal Nightmare).

Louie is too boring, Charme sometimes lacks ooomph, I don't do well with glass cannons so I don't even bother with Calliou, Nagi is decent but her range is sucky, Griff is MEH... and I've just unlocked Arma, so don't know what to expect from her...

Definitely Tielle. That range is amazing.

I like Charme. Fast and has high damage.

Something about Caillou though...it seems like his use diminishes greatly if you run out of MP. And seeing as how to be useful with him you need to spam abilities, which costs MP, he won't be useful for very long. I gave Caillou a second try faaar far into the game though, and he leveled up like crazy. Which actually solved a lot of his MP problems lol. He still did a lot of damage to take everything down too. By the time I dipped under half MP or was close to running out, he'd usually level or at least be close to leveling.

Maybe that's how you're supposed to use him...or maybe you're just supposed to keep a large stock of MP restoring items when using him.
