Please feel free to develop your own Unity interface for City of Ages all the commands are listed on this homepage. I am the server developer not a Unity designer. Deals can easily be made.

A couple of newbie questions

Long time mudder, I love the concept here, points for doing it in VB. Grabbed this wanting to have intergalactic adventures commanding a starship, ended up polymorphed into a bird in newbie town unable to do anything. This one is definitely going to be eating a few play hours in various levels of inebriation... But, its left me with a few questions and a couple of frustrations. Why is the main text window the only one I CANT highlight to copy and paste from? Any other window you can, but not the main term...

Few Unity test files have been added, they help create a character at logon, thats a start.
PLYR MOBS OBJE commands for client control. PLYR rx ry rz also modifies their location in the room.

Receiving a [Run-time error '339']

Steam could use a healthy dose of MUDs (Multi-User Dungeons), but I am having trouble running the program. It says - [Run-time error '339': Component 'MSWINSCK.OCX' or one of it's dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid] I already reverified all files. Not sure what is wrong. Thank you....

Runtime Error 339 fix?

When I run City of Ages I get a message: Run-time error '339': Component 'MSWINSCK.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid" from CoAClient and I get the message: SPLASH SCREEN ERROR #339 Component 'COMDLG32.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid" from Quick Help. Is there a fix for this? I've tried reinstalling, I've tried verifying files, but neither of those work and I don't want to delve further and break...

WINDOWS 10's 2019 Security Update .... more on this

After significant testing here are the results for a WORKAROUND for CoA to work with Windows 10 2019 security addition, this should give you all ideas to get it to work on Win 10 2019: Apparently if you install City of Ages on Windows 8 (not 8.1) then upgrade to Windows 8.1 then Windows 10 [2019 addition], City of Ages will run on it because the security update comes after to prevent DLLs before 2005 from WRITING to the registry. I am not sure about installing to 8.1 or Windows 10 (barebones) but I am gue...
