Crosshair in lower right of screen in full screen mode- how to fix this?

On windowed mode, it's centered.

On full screen, the resolution is set to the resolution of my monitor (2560x1440), but this is what I see:

Very strange.

How can I fix this? This game really intrigues me but not gonna buy it til I can get it working.

System specs: Windows 7 32 bit
Processor: Intel Core i5-2500S CPU @ 2.70 GHz 2.70 GHz
RAM: 4 GB (2.23 usable)

It looks as if the display resolution is set incorrectly for some reason... I did see something similar before but only under Linux and with multiple display set up. What is the resolution shown in the game and what is the resolution shown by your display when you see properties and such?

Thanks for the response! My desktop resolution is set at 2560x1440 and in game it's set at 2560x1440.

Can you check that when the game is running, the display is actually set to that resolution, and not just the game saying that it is set?

Can you send me the log.txt (found alongside Polynomial.exe , in Steam's game folder) ? It is a really weird bug. The game definitely got to be drawing something for higher resolution and displaying just a part of it.

I'm not sure if I'm misunderstanding, but I had the game on windowed, right clicked my desktop and it say 2560x1440. Is there something else you want me to try?

Same issue here, resolution is at 1920x1080. Just bought this game.

I've fixed this bug in the polynomial 2 since but it'd be pain in the ass to backport. Workaround: it works fine if you set the scaling for desktop items to smallest (in windows desktop options, advanced ones, where you'd set the resolution). It may also work if you rightclick on the Polynomial.exe and set compatibility option to disable scaling (I'm not under Windows right now and don't sure what exactly it is called).
