Are u using a joystick(if yes, which one?) or keyboard and mouse? Remember, you have to change the difficulty in the game option, otherwise, it gets to arcade.

I think it has better visuals than any other flight simulator. I think Arma 3 has nice visuals, nice lighting effects, but it's not a flight simulator. I mean, TOH it's not a hardcore simulator, but it's not an arcade crap, once you change the dificulty.

Make sure to use native rendering resolution, and put FXAA on high. Arma's FXAA high filter is really sharp and makes the cockpit look amazing. Turn HDR to very high, it makes the reflections on the bubble canopy look teh realz. Only thing I would complain about is the blandness of the environmental textures. They've always been like that in Arma, but Arma 3 did improve on it.

I agree. I can't believe i wasted this much money for what essentially is a Arma II Mod. I can't even finish the basic tutorials because this supposedly finished game, that came out last year, is buggy as hell. The infantry tutorial want me to drag a wounded soldier 24 meters. I grab him, and can't move. Wtf? So i drop him and now i can't move on my own, instead i stand there, in a weird posture, WASD doesn't work anymore.
Or how about this, for 3 hrs now i try to finish a simple tutorial that wants me to fly trough rings and can't finish it. Because randomly, the game would tell me i missed a ring even though i CLEARLY flew through it. WTF. What a pointless mess.
And before anyone says i can't fly, i flew helis in Arma II, Origins, Wasteland and DCS.

That's weird. I never faced that bug while playing the game. Anyway, I have to agree it doesn't have the best game engine. It's a very poor old engine, to be honest.
