Arma 2: Private Military Company

I just bought a ARMA 2 DLC and it doesnt work
I just bought my first DLC for ARMA 2 which is PMC and i finished downloading it and started up ARMA 2 and PMC still says lite and it doesnt appear on the list, can anyone help me with this problem?

start PMC via Steam then? or navigate to your OA directory and locate the DLCsetup folder,your PMC installfiles are there,too

when i start it up it keeps saying its running

Run steam as admin then right click on OA and ArmA 2, verify cache files on one, play it, verify on the other, play it.Then shut down your PC, turn it back on again,(so Steam is restarted) then it should work i think. If not verify both games, Then play Arma, then OA, then it should work. Good luck.

But if that doesn't work, someone else's solution was to find the dlc folder and run application datacachepreprocessor.exe.:B1:

then uninstall everything ArmA related,quit Steam,start Steam as Admin,install ArmA 2 OA and everything SHOULD be fine.don't skip the "start as Admin" part,it's crucial

boys, I HAVE A F*CKING SOLUTION!
i got: Arma2, Arma2OA, BAF and PMC
-> BAF and PMC didnt work...

what i now done:
- i exit out steam
-run the shortcut with ADMIN RIGHTS
-then i went over PMC and clicked "validate lokal files"
-it successed and i started PMC
-it suddenly ran a patch-window, that installed it into Arma 2 OA

i am saved! :D

PS: it installed my BAF automatically, too.^^

Running Steam as admin was a good hint. Solved the install problems (Application Load Error) with BAF and PMC for me. So thank you for the help :)

This is what I did:
- run Steam as admin
- Check cache integrity of ARMA II and start it afterwards
- do the same for OA
- restart Steam/PC

After doing that, I was able to install PMC and BAF (and DayZ).
