No SDL file error

Whenever I try to run the game, I get this error:
Not SDL File! (esdlreader.cpp, 17)

I've already tried deleting all files related to the game and reinstalling, but that didn't work.
Is there anything else I can do or am I screwed?

I'm receiving the same error. I've searched the internet and couldn't find a solution either.

Delete the Profiles file in the MoW folder. I think this might help, and look up the forums, we cleared this error in many other discussions.

I've checked, and I don't have a profiles folder. Could this be the problem? If it is, how do I fix it?

nvm, after many trials and tears, I found it, deleted it and the shader cache, and all is well. Thanks for the help guys.

Its in the file marked my documents, not even in steam. It'd be under users.
