Recommended mods

This has been collecting dust on my steam library for some time while i messed with 46...can anyone recommend some of the best mods out for it? I'm looking for graphics mods, additional planes, scenarios etc...anything going really! Thanks.

This game close for mode. In any case, online. So far, there are only amateur missions, dynamic company, RedBull trails for Su-26, and skins for aircraft.
Graphic change can lead to the ban on Steam. Need tools from the developers.

graphics changes can lead to a ban from steam? Since when? i've modden Il2-46 and several unreal engine games etc extensively and haven't once received a steam ban...not sure you're right buddy but thanks for the reply.

the fact is that this game is the protection of network hacking, because changing the game files can be superior in network mode. Itself mode for offline play does not control, but there is no community tools to create mods. So far, all converge to common replacement textures (eg: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tugifv2YIw8&feature=player_embedded).

1946 isnt the same beast as ClOD. In 1946 some mods will not allow you to join servers, but will not get you banned, however clOD is protected (although not by VAC I believe) but any changes to core files can be read as an attempt to cheat online.

You can mod it, but dont take it online and also set Steam to 'never keep up to date' or it will replace your mods with the original files.

Its not really worth it anyway the only mod Ive seen that might be worth it are some of the Aliasing mods, for better performance, and there have been reports of these mods getting people banned...

Some of the missiosn are ok too, but there are NOT the large amount of user made aircraft and effects etc that exist for 1946.

Hopefully this will happen over the next few years.
