Please add support for the Steam Controller

I've done much troubleshooting / reinstallation, to include, removing the team fusion mod for testing. This game will only recognize flight controls in settings and once in 3d, it will not respond to the controllers x-input. For those who have not tried it, the steam controller will give you outstanding control in flight (even superior to that of a flight stick IMO) when using the touch-pad. The buttons on the pad work fine, but without x-input the exercise is pointless. Valve please look into this because I love your product and this is a high visibility flight sim. To the folks at TF. Yes it puts unprecedented control of all functions at your finger tips so don't knock it until you're tried it. I have a flight stick and Track IR and this controller with the right config beats it, hands down. Even Falcon BMS works flawlessly with SC.

Is there a way to get the steam controller working? I just got this game, and I don't want to get a refund over something so simple.

Guys, maybe get a joystick? this is a simulator.. not war thunder, I really suggest you getting one..
