cant get past the stop officer objective

i blew the chopper up with a stick of dynamite just as the officer got on board and got him and the chopper,but,my objectives still show the red circle under the choppers wreck saying stop the officer from leaving,i did,hes dead along with the whole camp,is this a bug or something?or do i need to use my last stick of c-4?and blow the wreck up again?

I had this problem too a couple of times. Reload an older savegame and make sure he doesn't enter the helicopter at all.

Just sneak up on the chopper and use the grenade launcher chopper dead no escape then just let those trucks leave the area trust me ive done it on hard with no losses http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=497998380

Or you can assassinate the General. ..sneak up to the compound behind the General and use ur sniper to take him out first

Yeah i did that the first time i played it sniper dosnt get such a great place to shoot from then you have to run like hell so he isnt killed best just to destroy the chopper and the officer just stands there as you kill everyone dosnt even leave with the trucks thought he would but he dosnt
