Game won't start...?

I get a black screen for a fraction of a second and then nothing. If I open task manager it doesn't even display King's Bounty running. It ran fine the first day I bought it and as I cleeared up my list of games to play I just started on this one and it won't run. Help?

if you already tried the usual (updating directx, comaptibility mode with XP, running game as admin, verifying game cache, updating video drivers, disabling firewall / antiviruses) then you can try changing the resolution of the game just in case back then you had a bigger one
to change it you have to open a file called game.ini which should be somewhere like Users\"your windows user"\Documents\my games\Kings Bounty Crossworlds
the resolution as you will notice are the first 2 lines of the file

Yep, sure enough both variables were set to "0" and the second I changed them the game works like a charm.

I switch between the TV in my living room and the TV in my bedroom, so this explains it. Thanks again!

Thanks - game wouldn't start for me either, no error message or anything, but changing the resolution in game.ini from 0 0 for my res worked

changing the .ini unfortunately did´nt work for me. any further suggestions?

edit: nevermind, just had to restart my computer... ^^
