windows 10 64bit xbox 360 controller does not work.

I downloaded this game and in the main menu the mouse does not work. also when i try to configure the controller it does not detect it. anyone figured out any fix for this?

I'm here to try to help you.

Mouse: the mouse is correct that doesn't work. It's not supported on the menu -> just in game if you assign to it some commands.

Controller:
- the controller works with other steam games? it's just with FoL that doesn't work?
- do you have some programs to manage the controller or you just link the pad to the pc?
- have you check the steam configuration? sometimes issue like this is fixed by this step:
try to disable the "PS4 Configuration Support" or "Generic Gamepad Configuration Support" in Steam Big Picture mode under "Settings -> Controller" OR in the main Steam interface in the menu "Steam -> Settings -> Controller -> General Controller Settings".

it works in steambig picture and i made sure it detects as xbox controller.
i dont use any program to manage xbox controller.

Ok, I don't want give up so, let's try another solution:
can you update the DirectX?

I am having the same issue, same controller, same version of windows and it does not detect or respond to my controller in any of the menus. It is only affecting this game, and I have tried using the usb cable as well as wireless connection for my controller.

Very strange issue indeed. I have the same configuration (win10 x64 and xbox 360 controller) and everything works fine since day 1.

Also, looking for similar issues with Unity didn't give me many interesting results... :S

Did you try and update the DirectX libraries like Master suggested?

same for me
with both steam controller and xbox one s controller
tried everything and i can't even change any thing in the controls menu
i mostly play every thing with controller
glad i tried the demo first

Just an FYI, I don't know if something was fixed in patch 1.19, but now my contoller works and I'm able to play. To anyone else on this thread might want to check again. Thanks devs.

Yes we rewrote some parts of the gamepad code in order to improve the compatibility :) happy that it works :)

Uh. Really strange. Can you try to update the directX ? Also, what's your OS? Windows 10?

Yeah OS is Windows 10. Well I assume that I got the newest directx update, because these are updated from windows? How can I manually update it in windows10?
