Demo now available!
We're happy to announce that you can download the demo of Fall of Light, two weeks before the actual game launches. We are aware of a few tiny bugs that are still in the game, but we're working day and night to fix them in the upcoming days.

The demo can be downloaded from the game's store page by clicking the Download Demo button.

We would love to hear your feedback. And if you are interested in the game, please don't forget to wishlist it. Thank you! :)

Hi Jaceb,
from the starting location (your decadent house), go to the North. You'll find a shield near a corpse. Then, go to again to North, talk with the ancient woman, take the Lamp in the chest and after this go to the graveyard (North / East) and you'll finally find a sword.

as the other weapon: open the inventory page (with the same button to pick up a weapon), and put it on your hands. Close the inventory and now you can shoot dards. If you want to be more accurate, lock the enemy before shoot.

Thank you. Though, I thnik that a "swap weapon" button would be nice. And reload button too.

I got this after uploading a video of the game to youtube.

Hi British Curmudgeon,

A copyright owner using Content ID claimed some material in your video.

This is just a heads up
Don’t worry. You’re not in trouble and your account standing is not affected by this.

There are either ads running on your video, with the revenue going to the copyright owner, or the copyright owner is receiving stats about your video’s views.

Hi, I don't know who are that guys (Audiam) but the rainy ambient that we used in the game is this:

BTW I'm not sure if it's a mistake by youtube or by Audiam. I hope you'll resolve it.

The game crashed.
The crash report folder named ''2017-09-30_175036'' next to game executable.

Would love to try the demo before buying the game, but it keeps crashing. My setup is 6800k and 1080 gtx. Windows 10. I have verified the files and installed it again, but it is still just crashing.

Mmm, ok, that’s strange. Do you have the directx updated? Also, in the game folder you should find the file dump. Can you send to us at hello@runeheads.com ?

Strange problem as I have never encountered this before. Annoying because I'm sure I would love this game.

Edit: Yes!! Found the solution. Disabled Msi Afterburner and everything is fine now. I usually monitor temperatures and so on. Bought the game. :)

major issues with the demo. I need more explaination into what I am doing and how to play. it only tells you how to lock on when you activate the alter! i go right kill all these creeps swinging at the air really confused. doesnt tell you how to roll until you kill the boss! doesnt tell you lamp has a limit either. doesnt tell you how to use aether or go into invent. invent I found my accident. I really like the style but I found it very stressful. wanted something bit more casual.

Something you’re talking about is not really clear for me (what do you mean with ‘how to use Aether?) but I understand your point of view.
It’s totally not a casual gamer - but of course we’ll try to improve the tutorial phase in one of the next patch
