Something about Aiming/Crosshair help while on focus time

I've just started a new game on normal difficulty. After a couple of mins i noticed while aiming with the sniper that there is a red dot or something like that, which get's smaller if you focus on the target with 'E button'. This destroys the whole sniper feeling for me, cause every shot gets a headshot easily. Is there any option to disable that aiming help ?
