Fast Reload?

I performed one fast reload accidently, but I don't know what do "fast relosd" mean exactly in the game and how to perform it when I need.

So, the fast reload is when you press reload button (by default - r) and when you indicator on the reload bar goes on the sector you press again reload button you get fast reload. It shorthens the time for reload about a half. But be careful if you miss it or press to early you can even make longer the time for reload.

Also if you get 5 fast reload in a row you get an achievment

Yeah. My friends agree with me on that, too. By the way, difficulty "Brutal" is really hard to go though.
