Just making sure this is okay...
Hey! I bought Critter Crunch and I want to install it! But first I have to agree to this EULA thing. It talks about how I have "one copy only" or something like this and goes on about it for a while.

I just want to make sure and be 100% clear about this... Say I one day go and move the entire installed Critter Crunch folder from one computer to another for the purpose of running the game on my Steam account... But on a different computer! Am I breaking any rules or terms by doing this? Any answers will be greatly appreciated!

The way Steam works is that you can download and install the game through your Steam account on any computer you own. Steam adds its own DRM to make sure you aren't breaking the rules. I would actually advise against copying the files yourself since Steam does such a great job of it for you!
I see... Thanks for the responce. I appreciate the advice, but I still have to think about the whole copying/movement thing for three reasons.

For starters, my bandwidth limit sucks at 25 gigs.
Then there's the issue I have with the laptop having a low-quality, irreplacable graphics card which usually forces me to play some games I love on a computer instead.
And finally I worry about questions such as "What if my current laptop will need to be scrapped someday? Redownloading games to start files from scratch would kinda suck."

So if moving game folders to be played on Steam in another computer won't break EULA or any other rules, then I'll be happy... By the way, sorry if I'm asking an obvious question, but what does DRM mean?

DRM = Digital rights management. stuff meant to prevent piracy or the sharing of illigal copys. The only DRM steam has by default is that you have to be signed in to your Steam account to play and that you can only be signed in on 1 computer at a time, but some games have extra layers of DRM on top of that such as SecuROM (limits the number of times you can install your games) or Games for Windows LIVE (like Steam but worse). This website, the Big DRM List, is a good way to track what games on Steam have DRM : http://steamdrm.flibitijibibo.com/index.php?page=DRM_Lists/The_Big_DRM_List
