I'm trying to make a custom message box and other menus for my game, but to start with I can't find any of the existing images for menus or where in common events they could be edited. I've been having an extremely hard time figuring out how to get my game to exit to the custom title screen instead of the default one. So , in this episode of "wow, why the heck is it so hard to do a simple thing in this program even with tutorials?" I'm making scene based choices using the "add choice" and "show choice" common events included with Scene Based UI projects. I found a tutorial for how to change the choices to "Jump to Label" instead of "Change Scene", which is how I rather make my choices function. Virtually any input, like for example typing in the number of a pictures v-order causes all the menu bar options to not show and basically render the program unresponsive and unusable.

I'm new in VN, and so far I really like it, but when I get to the first decision, and then transitioning to another scene, the character names are gone. What can be the problem?
