Debating whether or not to buy this- does it still have multiplayer?

Hi guys, I watched a video of this game and it looks SO cool! Decided I wanted to grab a copy (having never played it back in th' day), but coming to the Steam page I noticed that it says multiplayer is no longer supported. However, I'm a little confused because some of the posts are talking about servers for it? So, does it have multiplayer or not? (And in what form?)

The games master server list list was shut down with game spy. Now you have to down load a 3rd party exe file that just replaces the master server list. So it does have multi player but it is dead

Yep, me and many others play quite often, of coarse with a community this small it depends on time zones. May I recommend checking out the "lets all go online for a really big match" thread and post when you will usually be going on, so possibly others who are online join you to promise large matches.

For me? NO! Use gameMaster/Gameshare, plenty of tutorials on the internet, just like modding execpt its in a different derictory.
