Battlefront 1 also had better class setups- the dark trooper had a much better gun, & you didn't need a killstreak to play as it.
Battlefront 2 felt too arcadey, and the blasters felt too much like toys.
Battlefront 1 is more for the actual "Battlefront" feel, where you're only one soldier in a vast army.
Battlefront 2 is more "cinematic", with jedi and stuff. Also, the AI in Battlefront 2 always targets you, so its more like you versus an army rather than Battlefront 1's "just a single soldier trying to make a difference in the war"
