Unzip the file BattlefrontII_client_english.exe and put this in your Star Wars Battlefront II/GameData folder, and then make a shortcut to it, and you must start the game with this shortcut (very important).
http://gameshare.co/gamemaster
or
http://freegst.org/
Both only require you change your exe file in your GameData folder with their own, which just sets it to use their masterserver instead of gamespy's nonexistent one. Check both out, see what servers each version has, pick the one you want. (I currently have both downloaded and just switch between the two depending on what server I want to play on)
If you just dont trust the altered exe's, game master gives instructions on how to simply edit your own.
yea crying on here while saying you dont feel like downloading something makes me wonder why people waste their time even talking to you.
3 on a locked server (wtf, why?)
3 on a server without cpus (i got kicked for being a jedi)
1. Retail, non-bundled
2. retail, fan favorites one
3. Steam
4. retail, best of star wars (I forget if it is this or battlefront 1)
And I think the all have sperate servers. (becasue I have Fan favorites one pack, and a friend had just plain retail and we couldn't play on a server together.)
