Mini Rollers Released! + Update Plans

Hello everybody!

Today, Mini Rollers officially launches. It took roughly 5 months to complete, and for a one-man job, I'd say it has come a long way. However, there is still room for improvement, and I plan to post fairly regular updates to improve the game and keep things fun.

I'm going to be doing semi-regular update posts like this one, to outline my plans for the next patch, including updates, bugfixes, and new features. I want to keep you guys as informed as possible, so please, I welcome all feedback.

While the game only just launched, I have a few plans for the next patch in the works, and will update this list as things are added:

--------------------------

- HUD text, to clarify what things are

- Camera clipping adjustments, to prevent sudden camera movements when rolling behind something that doesn't even really block your vision

- Improved controller support [specifically for menu navigation]

- Framerate optimizations [especially for areas with lots of foliage and water]

EDIT: A small patch just released, tweaking the HUD and help menus, as well as fixing a bug with level 1-3.

Mini Rollers Launch

Hello!

While Mini Rollers was originally intended to roll out (sorry) this spring, it has had to slowly be delayed until June. It will launch on Steam on June 16th.

Though the game is completed, it is currently in testing, and that process can be tedious when working as a one-man developer. The game is not an early access title, meaning it's a completed game that is launching in two weeks. However, it may have some minor bugs, and these will be addressed continually.

I intend to keep regular postings here to keep you all informed of the status of these updates, as well as things that are currently being worked on. Multiplayer will be the main focus of the first major update, along with more levels/worlds and potentially more game modes [co-op, etc.] in future patches.

Until then, get ready to roll. (Not sorry)

Level bug: 2-4, 2-5 and 2-10

2-4, 2-5 The spawn before any checkpoint, spawns enemies after the first death in the level without checking any checkpoints. 2-10 Same as above and the bugs can't follow me up the tree stump to the nest leading to the apple trees.
