So, how well do the mouse + keyboard controls work?
They work pretty damn well in my experience, pretty much everything is remappable
The only complaint I have is that some menues don't work with the cursor, but that's limited to certain functions in some shops, like the switch tab in the pawn shop.
They are also proper keyboard/mouse controls, as in you're mapping functions to keys instead of mapping buttons to keys.
EDIT: I picked the game up in the Lunar New Year sale, so I thought I would update it with my actual experience after completing the first two chapters.
The game seems to control pretty well with M + KB, although I did remap several keys for comfort. I have a 5-button mouse, so I remapped jump to M4 and "Skill" (the power attack/flying attack) to M5. That freed up space so I remapped Ex attack from X to space, and the team attack from down arrow to Left Alt.
The tutorials only mention the controller buttons, but despite that, I was able to understand what buttons do what.
I was able to use the mouse in menus more than expected, which was a nice bonus.
