MP questions
Hey guys I got this game more than a month ago and I haven't played MP at all (yes I know thats sad) because I don't want to jump into a game and be ridiculed fo doing something wrong. One of my major questions is what is the typical players army composition. I try and use balanced armies with infantry, atgm vehicles, artillery to bombard enemy fortified positions, buk positions behind my lines, and choopers for hit and run tactics, but it always seems that I end up using masses of cheap tanks, So I want to ask is how many of something should I have before it's considered spamming? Should I instead use higher end tanks like T80s or should I put veterancy on my tanks rather than spamming, I'm just trying to find out now before I jump in a game and do something noobish that will get people mad, because I've heard helicopter spamming is a major problem, although I'm not a person who enjoys using a lot of helicopters. So guys sorry if my question is stupid, I just don't want to start playing the game as a person who ruins games. So guys when I finally decide to join online I'll try not to be a typical noob :) So any of you guys who post, thanks :)

P.S. I'm a player that loves pact, I don't like playing nato because their tanks are just too exspensive and don't have the pacts "bang for your buck" like most pact units.

Actually MetheNicksta, that seems to be one of the big questions in the W:EE community these days. I have also started playing within the last month but I have been watching and reading before that a good deal. Have you seen any of the World Cup matches posted up on YouTube yet? There are also a number of discussions on the W:EE forum about this. To put aside all the rigamarole and try to give you something that may be useful, don't let the fear of offending others with your inexperience be a barrier to gaining experience. As new players, our decks are very limited anyway so we don't have all that many choices. When I get into a MP game, I try to focus on using sound tactics and force compositions that I would actually have expected to see fielded during the period of the game. If I've read some of the guides and such, I have also prepared for the possibility that an opponent will try to use an unrealistic force concentration. I try to be prepared to offset this. Try the AI too because it will "spam" units at you if it's set on easy. This can be good practice for learning control of units and how to counter that to a degree. The AI is really not good enough to teach you tactics though. Most of all, remember that you bought this game to have fun. Go have some lol. Hope to see you in game.
okay thanks, guys I think I might try a game in a day or two, I just need to formulate some tactics..... :) Hope to see you guys on the battlefield some day too, because I think I might have the cofindence to get online, although I'll probably get my butt kicked plenty of times, I can learn from my mistakes and improve :)
A good tips is to make 2-3 strategies for every map. This is useful in the early game, but be prepared because thing never goes exactly like the plan

Also, don't worry about being ridiculed. I played a game (recently) that I only scored 10 points (that's terrible), but the very next game led my team and got a victory.

If anyone ridicules you, that's just dumb. Let it roll off your back. Most folks are in the same position you are in, and just want to have fun.
Thanks boomer, hope to see you on the battlefield :)
