I found this one to be the toughest mission in the game, basically I recommend you deploy recon units, preferably helicopters around your perimeter to watch for NATO units, then use Attack Helicopters to destroy or at least weaken them.

Meanwhile, the entire time you should be constantly deploying units and telling them to 'Move Fast' to the Evacuation zone, you should tell some of them to stay at the points you have captured to keep them safe, but you may have to play this mission a few times to get it right.

You should send the units you want to keep most to the evacuation zone first, because keep in mind, your casualties are persistent, so in the next mission you will only have what you were able to save.

For the next mission you will likely want tanks, so focus on evacuating your best ones along with support units like Mobile AA.

An alternative method is to create a defensive cooridor.

Fill the forests on the right side of the map with T55s, Infantry and leave the BMPs the infantry arrive in. In the small town on that side, you start with an anti-tank unit, so send a couple of T72s (or T80s) to defend the FOB.

Most of the NATO attacks on the left side will come from the lower left (lots of Bradleys). Station four T80s in the hedgerow (next to the FOB in the command zone) along with some AA (I used KUB). I also added a couple of ♥♥♥♥♥ anti-tank units.

You won't get much (if any) attacking troops from the upper right side, but keep some infantry up there (to rescue the down chopper survivors).

At the upper left command zone, send your extra CV there. Then support it with tanks and AA (you'll see some NATO special forces and recon in that area).

Finally, beef up the mid left had side with a tank and some AA/infantry to protect against a helo attack and the occasional rouge tank. Now you have a cooridor to work with.

After you've established your cooridor, start sending troops. While sending troops, it's critical to watch your supply level. Place URALs near the forest on the right, and the upper left command zone (send any "extra" URALs to this zone, so you can send empty trucks ro the evac point...you'll need them in the next mission).

Keep an eye on the clock. At some point you have to decide you're done calling in reinforcments. Then you need to start evacuating your troops on the battlefield. I started with the troops in the original command zone, then pulled back troops the furthest out, then finally a mad dash with the troops at the top. I kept as many helos as I could (until the last minute or so) on the battlefield, to react to any breakthrough NATO troops.

With any luck, you'll get a sizable force out in time.
