singleplayer lag and mouse problems.
can someone help me? everytime i play the singleplayer there's alot of lag. my selections are delayed so if i pan over a unit it takes 3-5 seconds to select, as well as when i give an order, and after about 3 hours of playing the timer only reads 36 minutes. i have 8 gigs of ram, and a good processor and graphics card. i've even downloaded programs to optimize my game to run faster but they didn't make a difference, including when i ran everything on the lowest of graphic settings. i have no idea as to what the problem is. i also couldn't zoom in unless i use ctrl.

Have you tried to run in windowed mode - any difference?
Dakota 17 OCT 2013 a las 15:08
Yes, no difference.

Same problem here

Interesting. I never had such problems (4GB Ram, i5. HD6850), but this issue plagues an old laptop from a friend - select a unit, order them to go...and you have to wait (not 5 secs, but maybe half a second-1sec, just not instantly) until it acknowledges it. I thought it was the hardware, but if you have similar problems with a good rig...
Did you try on the official forums?

Same issue, was running perfectly until recently. Any mouse command seems delayed with about 1-2 seconds, such as selection and issuing commands.

I started getting this problem after I updated to Windows 8.1

Is that what you guys are running?

When did it get laggy for you? I noticed it when i updated but i also install Wargame: Ariland Battle (which runs perfect). So I suspected Airland Battle might have changed something.
LeKrhonn James 1 ENE 2014 a las 14:13
after the update, maybe reinstalling the game could work fine
Dakota 1 ENE 2014 a las 14:13
I run it on Windows 7, Though I have heard from people that Airland Battle fixes the problem.
