Menaning of icons behind Recon Units?

Hi there,
probably a dumb Q but i couldn't find any explanation in this... -.-
So: What do these different icons behind some Recon units mean in the Deck Builder / Armory? Hope you know what I mean: These icons that look like glasses, s.t. with brackets around.

o-o = good optics
(-o-o-) = very good optics
but some units got there recon stat changed but not there icon

So the third icon you didn't mention (e.g. BRM-1 has it) stand for exceptional optics. Got it!
