Fix for Divinity II - not starting (if you have 2 monitors)

If your Divinity II does not start, and you have 2 monitors, or a laptop and an external monitor - unplug (from the video card) your secondary monitor - D2 will start up just fine. You are welcome.

I have 2 monitors and had no problem with running the game. But of course that doesn't mean that someone else couldn't have this issue. :)

My config is a Nvidia GTS 250 (admittedly getting long in the tooth) with 2 1920x1280 monitors 24" - one in portrait one in landscape mode. Just sayin' - found the tip on a forum, tried all other things to get div2 back up and running and this was what worked.

Ah ha - additional research reveals that you can leave both monitors plugged in if - and only if - your fullscreen core resolution matches your desktop resolution. If the core resolution set in D2 is different you will need to unplug your secondary monitor - go into settings and fix the resolution. Then you can plug the monitor back in and it will work with 2 monitors again.
