Game not launching (Mac OS)

This game is not launching. The app “loads”, but I can only rear the sound.
Already uninstalled and installed again.
So, when Steam sells me game that doesn't work, I get my money back, right?

Hi. I appreciate this was a long while ago but, were you (or anyone for that matter) able to get this resolved? I'm having the same problem and can only find this post that relates to it...

I know this thread is very old, but it seems to be a problem with the full screen setting on OS X (maybe just on newer versions or some machines? I don't know). The solution is to remove the settings file from your computer (it's not stored in the Steam install folder, so it doesn't get deleted when you uninstall the game.

Here's how you remove the settings:
1) Open up finder, type Cmd-Shift-G, then paste this in: ~/Library/Application Support/Broken Sword - Director's Cut/

2) Delete the file called SETTINGS.ELA.

3) Relaunch Game

Unfortunately you'll have to play in a window. Setting it to fullscreen again for me always causes the problem again.

did the trick
