For how many players can this be played co-operatively?

And is this campaign mode... or just some type of arena/versus thing?

this game has coop ,but having to reopen room everytime to start another mission they can join can be annoying. They can't join town and stay in session. The material breakdown system fails alot so your hammering the button till it goes through.
