GAME CRAHES AS SOON AS I START IT THROUGH STEAM

as soon as I load the game through steam i just get the relic crash report page, someone please help!!! i bought the franchise pack and can't play any of the dawn of war 2 games :(

how on earth do i do that the relic error box come up and it says what where you doing when the crash occured but i did nothing all I do is click on play on steam and boom it crashes :/

Look in documents > My games > Dawn of War 2 (Retribution) > Logfiles > warnings.txt.
Now, look at the directory (which is written there). If it is something different than locale files, use the check game cache files button (or something named like it).

im not gonna lie im no computer wizz so i don't know how to check the game files integrity or how to validate files so from now on im just not gonna bother using steam tis is the second time ive used it and its the second problem ive had with a game

I'm trying to star the game through steam but it won't even let me do that it just says steam servers are too busy anyone else having the same problem?

Hmmm, it could be just the Christmas overloading. But these are possible solutions
1) Change downloading region (unlikely)
2) Restart Steam
3) Google "Port forward Steam"

go into wherever you have steam installed (by default its C:)/steamapps/common then select the retribution folder. delete it. Redownload. It worked for me.

Protip.. Backup game files make sure you havn't missed a file while downloading.

right click to the game in your library-properties-local files-verify integrety. this worked when I tried it in killing floor.
