Disconnected due to file inconsistency's

I get disconnected from everything (including singleplayer.) with the following error message:
Disconnected:
Server is enforcing consistency for this file:
models/infected/hunter.mdl

I am aware that this is a issue with a mod and have pinpointed the mod but i have found that others are able to use this mod and im looking for a way to make this mod playable even if its just for singleplayer.

I appreciate any help that can be given on the subject.

1) Enable the developer console from one of the Options submenus.
2) Bring the developer console up, type "sv_consistency 0" without the quotes into it.

That should be all you need to do.
