Great so DLR members now abuse valve devs or valve themself?

Yet if someone posts about DLR the mods or devs now remove the posts or threads even if the posts or threads are clean and concise..

Double standards much.

FYI the update broke extensions that broke and some plugins (not mods) that rely on the extensions and or gamedata stopped working. It wasn't valves fault, they do not handle 3rd part tools or directly support them, a bit confused what you expect valve to do here they dont code (author) the plugins so why on earth are you blaming them.
cause all the community server who run custom mods like confogl and stuff, need to update/adapat there mods...

its a messy jobs but i got it working on my server, everything works again

They got it working too, infact DLR had most of everything fixed within 15 minutes of the update. What no one at Valve seems to understand is the numbers... Private communities have held this game together for the past 2 years. Their sales see an influx of players that helps some. But as always it is the private communites that keep this game alive. I see plenty of people that talk up a storm about how they hate mods, but it is those same mod groups that see more traffic and the top rated servers in the world. Because of mods and custom content you can play hundreds of maps, alter all your settings, change the game itself and enjoy the old in a new light. For all those out there that talk trash about modders and mods they need to be able to adjust their game settings to never pick up a mod server. They strive to make the game new again, to build more, to make it interesting, and for those too slow to adjust to the changes we even make videos, have ingame tutorials, and have outlined every change they've made at DLR. I have listened to this debate over mod vs. no-mod, DLR vs. Confogl, balance and imbalance and I can only say this: "It's a video game man, get over it already"! If you don't like mod servers find some valve server IP's off of gametracker.com and connect to them or favorite them so that you get nothing else. Don't cry when you quickmatch and land on someone else's personal property. Geez people when it really comes down to it it's a game and supposed to be fun.
As for if people disrespect Vavle or Valve Devs... you get the respect you give. Valve forgets that many of these same communities that they just disrespected control millions of their members. And those members often listen to their community. No one is saying that they don't understand Valve's intent, it is just kinda bad for business when you kill of 47,000 servers on a whim. And I often find it comical how someone can name themselves something that no child should see {Boob Inspector}, then post in publicly and suggest that they are the role model for respect...

There is not millions of ppl playing source based games, and the vast majority of ppl who play l4d franchise or CS etc prefer vanilla gameplay / cfg's.

So DLR - dead land rape is not offensive? Yet my name is... ok you might wanna go around and view many of the other 4+ million steam cleint users names and start complaining about those and then complain that DLR is an acronym for dead land *rape*.
