whats with l4d2 lately?

melee is pretty much useless to ward off pounces and leveling a charge is next to impossible now. you can clearly see on your screen the butt of the shotgun go around but you still get pounced. you see charger and you swing your axe and you see a little blood and you get slammed. i dont get it. i know its not my comp ot my internet hook up. is there like something to regester your hits late for the laggers to even it out? its getting redunkulous.

I honestly think that the hitbox system of this game has always been screwed... just look at the displacement of the jockey hitbox and its model and you'll know what I'm talking about... makes it realy hard to shove anything if you are laggy...

Shoves don't register half of the time anymore and even when they do, it's as if the range has gone to hell. You'll often hear the sound but hardly ever will the actual shove work. My best guess is another f-up from valve's decision to release 100 updates at once.
