Can't launch game! HELP!

Everytime I try to launch Left 4 Dead 2 it just shows that pop-up saying "Preparing to launch Left 4 Dead 2" and it keeps on loaing and loading and nothing is happening. I have Left 4 Dead 1 and it works fine. I don't know if the server is down or what but it is getting frustrating not playing Left 4 Dead 2.

Try verifying it? Go to your libary, right-click left 4 dead 2. And then click on properties. And then head to Local files or something like that. And then click on verify game... Thingy. And hopefully that will fix it.

I did that, finsihed it and everything. It still wont launch. I don't know what to do, lol.

i had this problem earlier but i just tried to play and i had to update it, maybe try that :)

I tried launching it again, but it still wont launch. It just keeps on staying that way.

I'm having this same issue T_T. figure out a fix for it yet?
