"Good Guy Nick" -- New Achievement
This is just in case others haven't noticed. I barely noticed it. There's a new achievement for those that own the game. It's called "Good Guy Nick" and you're supposed to play in a campaign with free-to-play players from beginning to end.

I just got the achievement and it wasn't easy. I got 3 free-to-play players and they barely had over an hour of gameplay. Even on difficulty set to Easy it was pretty hard because the players didn't know what to do.

Also, just an aside, because of the game being free-to-play there were 30,000 players. Before then the most I would see is 9,000. Pretty cool. Hopefully a good number of them become regulars.

I'm one who purchased the game, sadly, work becons :(
I got this extremely easily by accident. I joined the Lethal Injection L4D2 server last night and had entered at the last part of a campaign just as it was nearly finished.
How to get "Good Guy Nick" :
you need at least one "newb", so
-host or enter a waiting room with easy mode
-then go tank and die as they will follow you and help you, making themselves go to right direction : they sometimes clueless about where to go or that they need to go ahead
-there is not a lot of zombies, but if one start to be slow, call him with ingame vocal chat commands or go back to heal him if injured...
-do that before you take more risks
@snesmaster40 I play lethal injection too.
if you get a total clueless newbie in your party, it will be HELL to get this achievement. they keep attacking everything that moves, even their own teammates.
I finished the Sacrifice with a F2P dude and I didnt get the achievement. Nice, really nice.
I got this achievement accidently, wasn't aware of it before I got it yesterday.
I was playing with my best friend, he is part of the free weekend, he wants this game so badly as he discovered L4D2 with me in 2010 at a LAN house. In mid-2011 I was lucky a Dutch friend of my gifted the game, so from there onwards I became addicted with over 1400 hours.
I was lucky the free weekend player I got the achievement with plays it on Xbox
for everyone who has the patience to play with the new players for the achievement,my hat is off to you,cuz i'm not one of them haha

Neither am I.... not after playing Expert Realism with friends for 3 years (mostly on add-on campaigns now). I actually got this last yesterday though with a 'noob' friend of a friend so it was fairly painless. You won't see me playing on Normal again though, that's for sure =P

Such a player ;)

I also noticed this achievement towards the end of the free weekend. All I did was join a lobby of the campaign Crash Course. I got the achievement in around 20 minutes.
Haha, yeah. I originally played a lot of Left 4 Dead 2 on the xbox, so playing with me I guess wouldn't have been so bad. xD. After seeing the sale and becoming sick of the community on xbox, I just got it on steam and I'm so glad I did.
Kudos, to all those helping those in need. You are true gamers indeed.
Is it still possible to get this achievement at this time??

No, you need to wait for a L4D2 free weekend.
