There really arent. In almost 2k versus games Ive only seen several dozen legit blatant hackers. You cant even come close to winning half your games so your opinions pretty moot anyways. Actually I take that back. Im sure the immense IMMENSE hacking has tainted your ratio. lol.

Just saying, not all hackers are the blatant kind. Those are the stupid ones. And in a game like this hacking isn't the only way to cheat.

Yes, there are a few "rotten apples" (cheaters) in Left 4 Dead 2. But they're very rare to find.
Most "cheaters" are simply good players that know the game, the best tactics and the maps.

I'm sorry, but I can't take the word of someone with less than 500 hours for granted.
In most cases, the guy/gal calling "hax" is simply bad at the game...

And no, I'm not just spilling words out of thing air... I know what I'm talking about. I've been playing this game for a very long time.

The saying goes like this:

- Better than me? Lol, it's not possible. It has to be a cheater!!1"

Principally, there is that player who is good, that player who plays cheap spam the heck out of HR and such and that one random guy bhopping the entire map perfectly while headshotting every SI and CI then Srcds exploit the server.

The game is dying, anyone that is sticking around using cheats must surely get bored of it...

It is easy but it really does take away the fact it is a game when you have a supernatural advantage... People don't cheat to win, they do it for peoples reactions.

@OP I suggest finding a server group that has SMAC installed and admins / its own ban list. This is how I enjoy games anyway.

In saying that, having "skill" at this game does get you accused and kicked when you wall bang a SI that's half sticking through a wall or making more noise than a c130 ect

I was playing with three randoms today, and we drew an opposing team that was horrible. One by one they got wiped and raged and were replaced with a whole new team by map 2. They were also horrible.

We decided to do pistols only on dead center 3, and they were so bad we not only killed their tank quickly, but we all made it to the safe. Granted there were some hiccups along the way and we did make it to safe in the red, but on the next map load we see...

"fine use your cheats, but dont use them on us"

They all ragequit at the same time a few seconds after. I checked "mayhem"'s profile [seemed to be their spokesman of sorts] and he had 2900 hours in the game. Proof that dolts exist at all level of hours. And all these hackusations are from people that suck at the game, but their e-go wont allow them to fathom others don't.

People do sometimes cheat in this game, as its easy to do. But the amount of cheating is very small, and most claims are people angry they lost. Ive seen people called a cheater and been called a cheater, for popping a boomer through a wall, or skeeting a hunter, or killing something when boomed.. etc etc.

Most popular ones ive seen are speed hacks, and aimbot. Speed hack is incredibly easy to spot, and aimbot.. not so much. There are also mesh hack people, but that's very rare.
