ofc but mostly people just calling other hacker because they cant accept, that some people so much better than himself. many people calling me hacker and i've got a playtime over 3200 hours and a 200 hours player think he can beat me? no way, no challange

Saw this one guy that had 1 hour and he was using hacks.
I hate hackers ... but any blame is to be proved and that is the most difficult thing to do. Is there any way to prove hacking during the game?

The best way to detect hankers is by observation .
It is in the details that hacking is given away. Remember that this is just a computer program and that it fallows a set of instructions odd infinitem. It is to the credit of the programmers that an illusion of a free floating world exists in game play. But, in truth this is an elusion. For example, a “wall” is merely a snippet of code that creates a barrier you are not suppose to pass. Overlade on this “code” is a peace of art work That is what you see in the virtual world. You can see this when you shoot around a “corner” and the bullet hit’s the “wall” were there is no wall. Just at the edge of the art work. Try it some time.

Hacks come in may shapes and types but in general, there are individual enhancements, group enhancements, and game changes. Further, most hacks are an extension of a perk, at least in the beginning of the games product life cycle. For example, A PS, or “personal shield“, was originally a code change were by the avatar was forever rifle butting. Or a Speed hack was forever on an adrenalin shot. As time marched on, people began to notice things, oddities like a fog continually around an avatar or the avatar moving to fast. This was caused buy the flash you see when butted by a weapon or blatantly outrunning other avatars. Sense the player was continually butting the flash looks like a fog or bubble around the avatar. So the hacker begins the process of fine tuning the hakes to correct the oddities that make it blatantly obvious.

Game changes:
In the process of developing the game there is a bit of software were by you can manipulate the settings. This is the command consol (CC hack). Now in signal player games such as sky rim or FNV you are permitted to do this. Such settings and ID codes are used to determine all aspects of the game. Things like the gravity, or the number of “monsters” that spawn, or the behavior of these “monsters”. L4D2 Leaked the pass codes that allow for these changes. Just look it up. So a few gained access then there friends and so on. So there are a number of players that can cause these changes. Have you ever playd a L4D2 game were the other side seems to have less common infected than you, or they seem to rez faster, or haw about they do more damage. These are all CC hacks caused by manipulate the settings. There is no way to tell who did it just that its been done by observing whether the “monsters” are approximately equal in number or the DPS seems wrong. Once again looking for those details. DONOT ASSUME it’s the other side don’t forget those rager’s out there.

Individual enhancements:
These are hacks whereby an individual benefits from the hack. There are many but im going to discuss the ones you can spot.

Auto Aim: The way to detect auto aim is to remember that humans are not digital but analog. If you want to see what digital aiming looks like. First person a bot in game and watch haw he/she acquires a target. As the bot moves from one targe to the other, he/she tracks to the center of mass, locks on (in the blink of an eye) and then shoots. I think of this like a sowing machine. Never misses always hit’s the target. This is what you look for. If a player has unreasonable Head shots or kills he/she is probably auto aiming. When a player is not auto aiming there is a continues swipe across targets and he/she misses often (about 50% of the time at best). There are some highy sophistacate auto aim hacks that are designd to fool you into thinking they are legitimate players. Remember, fine tooning and detail. Some have hot keys that will turn the hack of if the player notices he/she is being watched or feels he/she will get caught. Other enhancements include gyroscopic error that deliberately causes misses. All of these can be set in a consul. Ultimately you are looking for that digital aiming. Usualy it becoms prevalent if the player is using a sniper rifle at long ranges, assault weapons at medium to long ranges, or a shot gun at short ranges.

Wall Hack:
They always seem to know when to attack and were to shoot. This is one way they do it. They can see you behind the walls and know what your doing. Haw you tell there hacking is by whether they are tracking a target they cant see. Once more its in the details when you first person a player.


Personal shields:
Ever play a game were a player is downed only to get up agen then downed only to get up agen then downed….. Or haw about he/she is downed but nomater haw much damage they don’t die. This is a PS hack. Very hard to detect. One symptom is when your teem has outrages points but the enemy has no deaths. One way to prove there hacking is as a tank it takes 4 hits to down the player of he/she is at maximum health, and 5 hits to kill them. In unmoded servers this is written in stone.

Steering Hack:
Charger swings around or changes the direction of the charge after initiating the charge. You end up out a window. Nead I say more?


Rez hack1:
Your rez timer is at 25 seconds thay seem to rez at 15 seconds

REz hack 2: Yor rez timer starts at 20 seconds but its after you go through the reinitialization page. The timer should have started alredy.

Rez hack 3 there average rez rate is less than 12 seconds

Rez hac 4 They seem to rez almost in front of you

Unbound the secondary was over there now all of the sudden he/she is in your face. As if thay teleported.

Lag hack they keep bouncing around like mini teleport jumps.

Spy/Rager: just stands there commits suicide shoots teem mates …… messes the game session up.

More exotic hacks

The bubble: formed from the gravity tank, a bubble surrounds the player and you can not damage them, nor pounce on them. You slide off.

Auto pilot: Man there good, always coordinated attacks within split seconds.

Freeze: Cant move just before being pounced, charged, spilt, …….

Wall: cant go through a door for some reason.

Moving wall: cant get close to a avatar for some reason and getting pushed around with nothing there?????

AI : Hum no one is chatting to me on my teem but they aren’t bots??????

The point is with all this garbage no one has the right to clame they are the bad ♥♥♥ of L4D. Anyone can and probably is hacking or throwing the game. Lately, I have gone over a month without having played in an honest game without caching something wrong. BF2 ended badly do to this cacer. My advice is to not only report these players but to also black list them. Its all you have as a reprisal agenst it. If you find that yore fellow players or player is picky he she is a troll black list them. It is after all only a game.
reporting doesn't really do anything, just block them and move on

That is called a collision model. Vertices around vertices, one alpha, one textured; one complex, one simple unseen mesh. I know because I used to produce these all the time for Halo: CE, else people would be walking through my ­s­hit.

Let me thank the General Manager of a dealership for fixing my car, not the mechanic who did the work. Programmers made the base tools, but the mesh artists are the ones doing the work.
You make it sound so mysterious and overly complex.

Those cheat tools just comonly ping the host with info claiming they met/interacted/damaged/etc. with the subject.
"Object from player reached subject causing damage\physic value x(, y, z).
Game: Okay, if you say so."

You wanna be careful accusing someone of this hack though. Generally if a player is always perfectly tracking and shooting behind walls then they are hacking.

But some people, like me, have a surround sound headset. Even during a horde in the one room everyone hides in while waiting for the elevator in No Mercy, I was able to hear, pinpoint, and shoot a boomer through one of the walls. I wasn't hacking, I could just hear the: BLAAARAAAAARRARAAGHHHHH BURP.

That's why everyone is so quick to dismiss the OP. While it could be true he met a bunch of hackers, I tend to find that hackers are generally rather rare in my experience. Or that if someone is hacking, they get their ass handed to them by my team anyway so fat lotta good it did 'em. xD

Why would you respond to a two year old post? Anyway, this guy has no clue what he is talking about ("auto pilot hack" wtf), and even accused me of hacking on two separate occasions.
