Have any real - life friends that play L4D 2? I can tell you from experience that several family & friends play the L4D series. And because of this fortunate case, I have been able to enjoy this game. That being said, ask your friends if they play this game. I mean the worst thing that could happen is they say " no ". I really don't think you have anything to lose asking them. Just my opnion though.
Which seems to not work anyways. There will always be "noob" because there will always be new players. You act as if all new players will ragequit which isn't the case and not all new players will quit the game either.
If a veteran player were a true vet of a game then they wouldn't votekick a player or forego trying to help a player. The reason being the game they play-they want to see survive and to runoff new players by just being rude doesn't make the situation any better.
As for new players who won't listen-you'll always find a jackass sooner or later if you look for them. Whether it being a "noob" who won't listen to sound advice or a jackass of a vet who just kicks a "noob" because of past experiences that caused him to become a bitter player.
However, I do play VS just because playing Infected is so damn fun. I mostly play matches with random pubs, and while I do generally try to work with the team, I've learnt not to care if someone ragekicks me for whatever reason they see fit. The only time I actually don’t enjoy playing VS with pubs is when the opposing team is SO good that the infected can’t even get a meaningful attack in, even when we work together.
I would urge you to play more VS, as that is, IMO where the real fun and replay value of the game is. But having said that, really, you should just play however you want, and there is no need to get angry or frustrated, after all, it is just a game.
Add me if you want. While I’m a vet with 1500+ hrs, I really don’t mind playing with new players as long as they make an honest effort to play and learn.
