Still No Mods On Official Dedicated Servers?

Hey Valve, I know the workshop integration for L4D2 is brand new, but sometime in the near future, could you please make it so that mods from workshop will work on official dedicated servers?

I understand that mods weren't officially supported before now, and how that made them not work on official servers. However, mods are now officially supported through workshop. So they should work on official servers being officially supported, right? Apparently no, at least not yet. Please fix this oversight soon, since it's incredibly annoying and now unnecessary to leave perfectly good games just because they're on official servers and your preferred mods of choice won't work.

Edit: If this isn't possible, then please, at least give us a way to ignore specific server types like official dedicated when quick-matching.

The workshop is a work in progress and we will see where it ends up. We first want to get the base kinks worked out and go from there.

Thanks for replying, I wasn't expecting a reply from anyone, let alone a staff member. I figured the reason was just a matter of the kinks not quite being smoothed yet. Please though, see if this can be fixed once said kinks are dealt with and the workshop is stable. Thanks.

Everything from workshop works on third party servers, including UIs, character and weapon skins, and various other things. However, official dedicated servers still don't seem to allow mods to work, the way things were pre-workshop. I've been looking at it, and thanks to using both a UI mod and a SWAT skin for Coach, I can tell if the mods are working. All third-party servers I've been on allow the mods to work as intended, whereas all official dedicated servers I've tried do not allow the mods to function. Coach has his purple shirt, and my UI is default on official.

If you'd like, I could try to play a bit on both server types and get screenshots to show what I mean.

Edit: This has been tested with both Campaign and Versus.

The whole point of official is so I don't play on modded servers, can't stand those. So yeah, please don't mod official dedicated. If I want to play on moded server I'll find a moded server.

I hate mods. i only want to play a game without unreal and insane fan made stuff. there are SO many best available servers full of mods. and un modded game i can only find in official servers and local servers.
