Banned for being german with Unicode chars

Lol, I'am banned for ever on all servers of www.r2k-servers.com. No warning, no Info, nothing.
Reading something in the WWW told me that the Guys don't like some Nations and bann these Players from Servers. What do you think about this?

Well I guess Russians are not the only ones being hated...
Personally I have nothing against germans. In fact, even if it invaded my country in WWII, I still like the country and its history.
I just think some people are racist and if they are, why would you bother playing with them? There are plenty other people willing to play, no need to go to those servers...

Don't missunderstand me. My destination isn't to play on this servers, I want to make public what this guys and maybe other Admins do on Servers. Ok, they are own this Servers, but that may not be in the spirit of Steam. I also will report this behavior, because they made the Steam-Ids public in the Web.

Hackers are everywhere, not just in Russia. I have seen countless people with bans on record on their steam profile and were definitely not Russian. Maybe you just ran into wrong people. There are good and bad people in every country.

are you sure it's not because of internet connection? I wouldn't want to play with someone from germany just because the ping would be horrendous.

Do you think its possible that the server admins and their regular players like to have plain text usernames that they can read?and not have the spend time trying to work out what someone's username is. I would think that a server admin would not have banned based on nationality, but if they do, it would be because of your location, they might want only traffic that is less then say 100ms on their servers. This would mean they block a lot of connections from say Europe etc.. Also this is the wrong place to ask this question, please go to http://www.r2k-servers.com/ and ask the people there.

an permanent ban because of an bad ping? I check my Ping everytime I connect to an server, I leave it myself if I'am over 100.

Sure I think it is possible. Read the Forum of the Group and you will see what I mean. They wrote it down themselves! Be sure, the Problem was not my Ping. I asked what other players think about this behavior and I'm not interested in to registrate me on their Webside. I've done it on the Side here in steam and would be banned too...

Do you read my first message? There you can read why I mean they have Problems with other Nations. Have a look at their homepage, as they have written themselves. Maybe my bad english was the problem, sorry for that :)

Sure they can, but is it intelligent to make an Server public then? But some players here are right. There are many many other Servers I can game on.
But its really annoying to connect very often to this server. Can I block IPs in L4D so that I did not connect to this servers again and again?

If you want to block their IP you can use peerblock, or start your own lobbies and use mm_dedicated_force_servers to force connect to servers you want to. There's no way I know of to block quick join or the automatic server search from trying to connect to their servers. If you blocked the IP with peerblock it'll still try to connect, it'll just time out after 40 tries or w/e.
