cant join a server

when i try to load a game, it goes to the loading page and then goes back to the main menu. help

I have a similar problem. Whenever I join a multiplayer game, it won't connect me to it. It something like: none of the games matched your requrements or something

no resolutions? This problem happened to me in Dec 2012 also, right after I let windows 7 do an update, I rolled back the update and could connect again. Recently I was forced to let those updates be applied. Now, I cannot connect again. I have checked the rules and L4D has inbound permission. So what is causing this connection issue

This problem could be one of a few issues! For example:
1.Your Anti-virus is blocking it?
2.You need to re-configure the ports on your router?
3.Need to do a cache check on your files?
4.Firmware update?
5.Need to do all 4 of these!
