Single player crashing to main menu

So for some reason when I try to load a campaign on single player it crashes to the main menu, I don't understand because if I go online, or on my own local server I have no problems?? I tried verifying cache but it's still doing it, any advice?

What do you mean main menu? Desktop? Or the actual main menu of Left 4 Dead 2? If it is the actual Left 4 Dead 2 menu, enable developer console (http://www.esl.eu/eu/l4d2/forum/2049/16972/710094/) and copy paste everything you have AFTER you have crashed to the menu and paste it here so I can help see what the problem is! I mean L4D2 main menu and it just worked for me now but if it does it again I'll paste it here.
