Left 4 Dead 2

Left 4 Dead 2

İstatistiklere Bak:
Left 4 Dead 2 Commuinty is terrible.
I got kicked a bunch of times, all because I was bad at the game, and I see other players getting kicked for the same reason.

The community is very lacking in vs. I think you will find it friendly in co-op games though ?
You're ruining the game for them. Why should they have to deal with you?
There isn't a match making system so people with completely different skill levels are matched together, which in a team heavy game like this isn't ideal.
I agree with flying though, co-op is probably a better place to go for now the people normal campaign are typically pretty chill form what I've seen, I wouldn't touch VS until you're fairly competent at playing survivors.
I don`t play with general public at all for that particular reason! I`d suggest starting in Co-op mode and making friends along the way and try getting enough friends to play vs together! It`s much more enjoyable being able to play with people you know and that don`t whine like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ because "they" think that they`re king ♥♥♥♥ at the game! Choosing the right server also helps :)
It's true that the MP community is a bit hostile, and as a result it will probably end up dieing from asphyxiation. New players are vital to keep old games alive. If new players are shunned by experienced players, then the playerbase will gradually shrink and disappear.
People in versus are very agressive and try hard lol...if you are newbie go start improve your skill by play through campaign =) so you can know more and get more good so once you get in versus game maybe you wont get kick...
when you get good you will understand...
Is the community actually that bad, or is it Valve's fault for putting zero hour players in with 1,000 hours and expecting them to get along? Fix the root of the problem, not the side effects caused from it, and both new players and veterans of L4D2 can coexist in peace.
i do not care about hours and people playing bad, the only reason i kick people is because they are so afraid of the mouse and then they do not shoot the zambies! (or keeps fooling around and dont answer callings)
Kicking someone with few hours can be a mistake for many reasons, i've been kicked this way for awhile when i joined steam. People were complaining for hours, scripts, hacks using. There is 2 other community called Hamachi and Garena. I'm from G. Veteran players are pretty ignorant only plays the usual cheap way and don't allow new experience for the game. All you might wanna do is put your profile to private and enjoy the game as you can. L4D2 is old and needs new player to keep up. Real L4D players don't want a community of entire confogl, it's boring and drama whoring all around.

Carrying teams, making friends without trying to hard not playing OP is what i do all day on L4D, it's much more better and actually feeling like an apocalypse would be if you see what i'm saying. Those trash talking are more considered as a higher wag for the winners, just remember playing with new peeps teaches you new things. Even pro's learn.

A. L4d2 is entirely the wrong game to get the "apocalypse feel" it's a arcadey shooter, it does not have that feel beyond the theme.
B. I learn stuff from people, but not from the people that are worthy of being kicked. The people I learn from are other experienced people. Vets do learn stuff from time to time, there's a lot of really obscure things you can learn even late in the game, but it's typically not from the person running the wrong way through the map.
C. Don't talk for the community as a whole, ever. You can hypothesize why people take actions but don't just say that everyone doesn't want to play confogl, you have no basis to say such >_>
D. Please organize your thoughts better, there is a lot of sentences in there that just don't make any sense or serve no purpose.

Excuse my 3 language sentences mistake. Not everyone learns english at school.

Not Apocalypse? You mean it's another CoD game? I never thought someone could say such thing from a specified genre, makes me wonder if you ever played L4D1. Doesn't need to be scary horror, the surviving matters are there you don't feel them because L4D2 killed it's theme from outside. Fast paced action doesn't mean surviving is non existent.

Talking about community as whole isn't a mistake, if you know who you are then you don't need to feel involved into it. Simple as that.

Confogl is just a typical sourcemod config people believe to balance the game. It doesn't do anything at all. L4D2 requires less uncontrolled OPness from his community and more actual skills, all it takes is less people rushing and more people having fun with understanding.

Simple plugin with less weapons and ammo piles would make L4D players a lot more competent than now. Mainly because the game "gives" too many chances to make back at each other. Confogl pushes players to rush even more and doesn't support ANY of these, explaining why it's no different from normal Versus.
it's really not THAT terrible, you just have to wait till you know meta before jumping into stuff like vs and expert campaign.
Just play on servers that say normal mode.
Looking at this reply comment fills you with determination to go find better people who don't care about your skill level.
