Adding Friends

I've had some trouble since i started playing again adding friends from this game. Bringing up the overlay doesnt give me the option and i dont know how to do it from within the client. I also tried View-> Players from steam and nothing shows there for this game. any help?

While in game tab shift then view players/ recent games and it should have a list of the people you played with recently. If you mean adding specifics then View friends list in the bottom right will pop up the friends tab. If you look at the top right of the friends tab there is a drop down menu and it will have add friend.

All my recent players seem to be 1-2 weeks+ old, and I play something online at least every 2-3 days minimum....
