Seems Overrated?

Got it a while ago and never really enjoyed it. I can't pin down exactly why... anyone else feel the same way? If so, why?

Try playing it with friends. When you do that, it's 100 times more enjoyable. If you do that and still don't enjoy it... I don't know what to say other than it's just not your type of game.

The flow and style of gameplay isn't for everyone and the community is (mostly) obnoxious so I can see why some people don't quite enjoy the game. And I won't blame you, maybe the game is not for you.

W00t?! This game is freakin' awesome man.... a gamers game... I rip myself a new cracker every time I play it... never got loved and hated so much for laughing my ass off.. especially in vs mode...

Anyway get back in the game man, by looking at your profile, its probably the best game you have..

At first it does appear frustrating, especially with the pinning specials who seem overwhelming, but the bigger problem is who you play with.
The VS community is by far the worst in the history of video gaming, while the rest of the community, in general, makes 12yo CoD players insulting their moms and sexuality on Xbox live look mature and friendly.

And the other problem is, the bots. The AI in this game is absolutely horrible, so either you're playing with idiots, or with worthless AI teammates.

Sure, from time to time you can get into a game with people who are good, and fun to play with, but this game is meant to be played with three friends, with mics and probably after a few drinks. That definitely leads to some of the most intense fun you can have in a video game.

I agree that it isn't the best game. But I do enjoy playing it with friends. Most of the people who play online don't know what the word teamwork is. There is always that one person that ditches everyone, refuses to help anyone (revive them or otherwise) and tries to get to the safe room by themselves. Which usually makes everyone lose. It is fun to play with friends and not random people since they will actually help you. AI sucks too like other people have said. Games not for everyone, but I like it.

Usually the Name of the players Show how mature they are... Be aware of that, Choose good players and the game will be good.

That's one of the stupidest thing I have ever heard, at least today. No offense but players' nicks are hardly any indication, and most of the time "pro" looking nicks (xX_ZOMBIE_KILLER_Xx and other homosexual stuff) mean total idiots, and idiotic / 'joke' nicks mean good players.
